BPTN Awards: BMO Black Tech Community Builder of the Year

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. Our outstanding founder, Melisa Elis, has been awarded the BMO Black Tech Community Builder of the Year Award presented by Obsidi as part of the inaugural Obsidi By BPTN Awards. This is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to celebrate the achievements of leading Black professionals and Black-led organizations in North America who are making a tangible difference in the tech industry.

As you may know, Black professionals and Black-led organizations are often underrepresented and underappreciated in the tech industry. That's why the Obsidi By BPTN Awards, presented by BMO, are such a game-changing initiative. Nobellum is an enterprise dedicated to supporting and elevating Black-owned businesses. Our goal is to raise 100 Black-owned enterprises by the year 2025, and Melisa has been a crucial driving force behind this mission. Melisa's tireless dedication to defining and spearheading this objective has been a cornerstone of her work, driving positive change within the organization whilst helping to make the tech industry a more equitable and inclusive place for all.

The Obsidi By BPTN Awards ceremony will take place on June 21, 2023, and we can't wait to see all the amazing work being recognized.
