About the Initiative
Carving out space for WISE Women, Together
Our Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship (WISE) is geared towards providing female founders with the tools, mentorship, and exposure needed to scale. As a women-led organization, we understand the barriers women face and are equipped to support them in overcoming these challenges.
As an initiative connecting women founders with investors and accomplished female leaders, WISE aims to provide expertise, open doors, and empower success. By connecting women leaders with WISE participants, these interactions offer strategic guidance, knowledge transfer, and skills that empower women to scale their ventures effectively.
The WISE Women network is a testament to those who work to overcome gender barriers and commit to closing wage disparities.
Our Programs
WISE Week
Cohort Based Programming
The WISE Program is a two-month bootcamp supporting women founders in STEM and entrepreneurship. Applications open in Fall 2025, and the program concludes with a pitch event during WISE Women’s Week in Women’s Month 2026.
WISE Women’s Week connects women founders with executives, investors, and industry leaders through workshops, networking, and storytelling. Only 4% of venture capital funding in Canada goes to women (even less for Black women).
Women Investing In Women
Exclusive VIP Events
Women Investing in Women is a WISE initiative designed to connect aspiring women with inspiring women investors in venture capital (VC) and angel networks. These experienced investors can offer mentorship, support, and funding to help aspiring women grow and succeed.
